Welcome to Another Way Around!
Life-threatening illness can strike with no warning. We all try not to think about it but, if it does happen, you just hope that the doctors and the hospital staff can work a miracle for you.
Some of us are lucky but most of us rely on the research that is going on, which is expensive to maintain.

That's why a bunch of bikers with huge hearts and enormous stamina have raised over £15,000 for various charities in the last three years. They're still giving their spare time to good causes.
These guys have travelled on their motorbikes from Lands End to John O'Groats, have visited the "four corners" of the UK (from Edinburgh Castle to Dover, to Land's End, to Cape Wrath, to John O'Groats and back to Edinburgh Castle) and took on a demanding ride across the Alps in May 2009.
And all for charity.
If you can give a few coins or notes then this will be a story with a happy end because our goal is to help those who will need these charities and their good work in the future.
Every contribution helps. Thank you for caring as much as we do.

All of the team have been affected by cancer in some way, such as Jim's brother - Ian - who was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma after finding a lump in his neck in early January 2007. After treatment, he was given the "all clear" two days before the team started the Four Corners trip, which was the best news they could have wished for and made the trip so much easier to bear.
Jim wrote "I would like to thank all the guys within the Anotherwayaround group for all their effort and help along the way, and to Sean for the initial idea. Also a huge massive thanks to Grafixation for all the time, effort and hard work in preparing this site as this is way above our expectations and know how."
Grafixation says "Our pleasure! We are more than happy to support such a worthy cause."
